Texas Tech vs. TCU: Game Preview

Public Service Announcement: BLACKOUT. After a close call with the Horned Frogs last year in Fort Worth, expect TCU to come out swinging. No fear, Tech fans! Kliff and Co. have called for an official blackout (which works for this night game, unlike when Tuberville would call for a blackout for a day game). The stadium will be packed with loud and rowdy fans and Texas Tech is going to show TCU just how hard it is to win in The Jones.

If you’re one of the unlucky few who will not be able to attend, you’ll still be able to catch the game. ESPN will have Rece Davis (Play-by-Play), Jesse Palmer (Analyst), David Pollack (Analyst) and Samantha Ponder (Sideline) call the game. The game will also be on the Tech affiliated radio broadcasts.

Who: Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. TCU Horned Frogs.

What: Big 12 conference opener for the Red Raiders.

Where: Jones AT&T Stadium, Lubbock, Texas.

When: Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. CST

This is a big game. There’s bad blood on both side of the ball after a triple overtime game last season. Tech fans need to show up and sell out The Jones and blackout TCU. I have faith in our players, as I’m sure all good Tech fans do. Let’s wreck some frogs.
