Links for Lunch: Kingsbury Keeping Cool

Here’s some cool stuff we found…

Keep it Cool: Kliff Kingsbury has his team’s attention and respect for the way he handled adversity on the field, writes David Ubben of Fox Sports Southwest. Go here if you want to get our take on the same incident.

Long Way to Go Yet: Mike Dupont II of the Daily Toreador writes about Kingsbury and the team handling early success. Sounds like the Red Raiders are holding on to the underdog mentality despite never trailing in any game so far this season.

It’s Just Good Television: Daily Toreador TV’s Drew Kohnle asks Texas Tech students the question of the week: what does the fox say?  Unsurprisingly, nobody really knows, but that doesn’t stop most from guessing.

In it for the Long Haul: Don Williams visits with cornerback Bruce Jones about playing every defensive snap against TCU and we love his answers. Jones said coming out of the game never crossed his mind.

Predicting Week 4: ESPN.com Big 12 blogger Jake Trotter and his guest picker called Roger lay down score predictions for every Big 12 game this Saturday. Roger thinks Jace Amaro will have a 150-yard “coming out” party. I guess he hasn’t been paying attention, because we’re pretty sure Amaro is already ‘out.’
