Former Red Raiders in the NFL: Week 4

It’s officially October, which means we’re four weeks into the NFL season. Let’s take a look at how your favorite former Red Raiders in the NFL played this week.

Danny Amendola (WR – New England Patriots) - Week 4: Win
Amendola sat out again this week because of an injury suffered week 1 of the season.

Bront Bird (LB – San Diego Chargers) - Week 4: Win
Bird had one tackle against the Dallas Cowboys. He now has a season total of 19.

Michael Crabtree (WR – San Francisco 49ers) - Week 4: Win
The Tech fan favorite remained on the disabled list due to an achilles injury for the 49ers’ win against the Packers.

Cody Davis (S – St. Louis Rams) - Week 4: Loss
Davis was promoted to active roster from the practice squad this past week, but has yet to see any playing time.

Seth Doege (QB – Atlanta Falcons) - Week 4: Loss
Doege remains on the Falcons practice squad.

Keyunta Dawson (DE – Tennessee Titans) - Week 4: Win
Dawson is on the Titan’s active roster, but has yet to play this season.

Dylan Gandy (OL – Detroit Lions) - Week 4: Win
Gandy still sits as the second string right guard.

Darcel McBath (S – San Francisco 49ers) - Week 4: Win
Like his current teammate, McBath is also on the disabled list for the 49ers.

Manny Ramirez (OL – Denver Broncos) - Week 4: Win
Manny Ramirez remains the starting center for an offense that once again proved to be unstoppable.

Louis Vasquez (OL – Denver Broncos) - Week 4: Win
Vasquez also started on OL for the Broncos. The strong offensive line remains a huge asset to the Denver offense.

LaAdrian Waddle (OL – Detroit Lions) - Week 4: Win
Waddle played for the Lions for the second week in a row. The offensive line only allowed one sack.

Wes Welker (WR – Denver Broncos) - Week 4: Win
Welker had 76 receiving yards, and caught two more touchdown passes – making him the only player for the Denver Broncos since 1969 to catch at least one touchdown pass a game.
