This is a big week for Texas Tech, for two reasons. Reason number one: it’s homecoming in Raiderland! Homecoming is always an exciting time on the Tech campus, and especially at the game. Reason number two: this is the week the Red Raiders become bowl eligible. We only need to win one more game, and this will be the one, I can feel it. So on that note, here’s the game preview for this weekend’s game.
As usual, there are a limited number of tickets left for the game, but there are alternate ways to view the upcoming match-up. The game will be nationally broadcasted on Fox Sports 1 – with Eric Collins doing play-by-play, James Bates as analyst, and Brady Poppinga on the sideline. No TV? No problem! All 33 Texas Tech affiliated radio stations will have the broadcast.
Who: Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. Iowa State Cyclones.
What: Texas Tech’s homecoming game, Big 12 Conference matchup.
Where: Jones AT&T Stadium, Lubbock, Texas.
When: Saturday, October 12, 2013, at 11 a.m. CST.
Texas Tech enters the game as the favorite, and if they can win this game – which they should – expect to go bowling. Also expect a slightly higher ranking as a result of remaining undefeated halfway through the season.
