Former Red Raiders in the NFL: Week 6

We all know why we’re here…let’s get to it. Time to look at how your favorite former Red Raiders in the NFL played this week!

Week five is in the books. Just like last week, let’s take a look at how your favorite former Red Raiders in the NFL played this week.

Danny Amendola (WR – New England Patriots) - Week 5: Win
Amendola had two receptions before leaving the game with a head injury. Not the best news since this was only the second game back from his last injury.

Bront Bird (LB – San Diego Chargers) - Week 5: Win
Bird recorded two assists against the Colts on Monday night.

Michael Crabtree (WR – San Francisco 49ers) - Week 5: Win
The Tech fan favorite remained on the disabled list due to an achilles injury for the 49ers’ win against the Packers.

Cody Davis (S – St. Louis Rams) - Week 5: Win
Davis played on special teams for the Rams for the second week in a row.

Seth Doege (QB – Atlanta Falcons) - Week 5: BYE
Doege remains on the Falcons practice squad.

Keyunta Dawson (DE – New Orleans Saints) - Week 5: Loss
Dawson was picked up by the Saints a week ago, but has not seen any action.

Dylan Gandy (OL – Detroit Lions) - Week 5: Wins
Gandy still sits as the second string right guard.

Darcel McBath (S – San Francisco 49ers) - Week 5: Win
Like his current teammate, McBath is also on the disabled list for the 49ers.

Manny Ramirez (OL – Denver Broncos) - Week 5: Win
The Broncos continue to dominate, and credit is due to the offensive line, and starting center.

Louis Vasquez (OL – Denver Broncos) - Week 5: Win
Vasquez played his sixth consecutive start for the Broncos offensive line, as the team’s offense continues to roll over competitors.

LaAdrian Waddle (OL – Detroit Lions) - Week 5: Win
Waddle saw limited action, but the rookie did play. The OL only allowed one sack

Wes Welker (WR – Denver Broncos) - Week 5: Win
Welker now leads the NFL with eight total touchdowns, with at least one game in the first six games.
