Texas Tech's Branden Jackson Honors Brother with No. 9


Texas Tech sophomore defensive end Branden Jackson changes his jersey from No. 9 to 90 and back again several times a game. Because college football rules dictate two players on the same team can’t wear the same number on the field at the same time, Jackson changes jerseys to cover punts with teammate Shawn Corker, also No. 9.  Most fans, including yours truly, question why he doesn’t just wear 90 permanently to avoid the hassle. Here’s why:
