Who would’ve thought Texas Tech would be a top 10 team with a brand new head coach when the first BCS rankings were released? I had faith in this team, but they’re surpassing expectations right now. I love it. Hopefully that trend continues because this week they have a tough matchup against Oklahoma in Norman. The team wants to go 8-0, and I think there’s potential for that to happen. However, Oklahoma is an eight point favorite right now. So let’s just jump on in to how to watch this bad boy.
Per usual, all 33 Texas Tech affiliated radio stations will broadcast the game. Fun news: national broadcast…again! Fox is providing national television broadcast with Gus Johnson doing play-by-play, Charles Davis as the analyst, and Kristina Pink on the sideline. Sirius Radio also has the game on channel 119, and XM radio will broadcast it on channel 191.
Who: Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. Oklahoma Sooners.
What: A top 15 BCS team matchup.
Where: Memorial Stadium, Norman, Oklahoma.
When: Saturday, October 26, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. CST.
It’s yet another afternoon game, and maybe that will take away some of the hostility in Norman. It will be the Red Raider’s toughest test yet, but there’s a decent chance Tech will come out of this 8-0 and an even higher ranking. Check back with Wreck ‘Em Red throughout the week and on Saturday for more analysis and a live game thread. Wreck ‘em!
