Texas Tech vs. Oklahoma State: Game Preview

Richard Rowe-USA TODAY Sports

Important week! Important game! The Texas Tech Red Raiders play the Oklahoma State Cowboys this weekend. Kliff Kingsbury has officially declared the game a blackout. He is also encouraging students to get weird and show up in Halloween costumes, even supplying monetary prizes. Students have started camping out, in the almost-annual Raiderville. This is an exciting week.

So, getting down to brass tacks…how are we going to watch this awesome game? Well, if you’re one of the lucky ones who have tickets, I expect to see you at the Jones. The game is so close to being sold out, you might have trouble buying tickets if you haven’t yet. I have no doubt it will be sold out by the end of the week. If you’d rather sit comfortably on your couch, no worries. Fox has picked up the game for national broadcast again. Gus Johnson will be in charge of play-by-play, Charles Davis as analyst, and Kristina Pink will be on the sideline. Radio will be the same as last week; all 33 Texas Tech affiliated stations will have the game, as well as Sirius and XM channels 85.

Who: Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys.

What: Big 12 matchup, and another top 20 matchup.

Where: Jones AT&T Stadium, Lubbock, Texas.

When: Saturday, Nov. 2, at 6 p.m. CST.

Like I said before, this will be a huge game for Texas Tech. Oklahoma has crushed the Red Raiders the last three years, it’s time for some payback. Let’s support our Red Raiders any way we can this week. Make sure to check back with Wreck ‘Em Red throughout the week for game analysis. Let’s get weird.
