The online sports betting site Bovada released win totals odds for several college football teams this afternoon, including Texas Tech.
Right now the over/under for wins in Kliff Kingsbury’s second season is set at 6 1/2.
Like many, the good folks in Vegas aren’t putting a lot of stock into the Red Raiders this year. While Tech does return a lot of talent on offense, the defense will lean heavily on incoming JUCO transfers along the defensive line and several sophomores in the secondary. That mix of inexperience and proven talent makes it hard to bet on Kingsbury’s crew in 2014.
Other notable win totals include Texas A&M (7), Texas (7 1/2), TCU (8), Baylor (9 1/2), Kansas State (7 1/2), Oklahoma State (7 1/2) and Oklahoma (10 1/2).
What do you think? Over or under 6 1/2 wins for Texas Tech this year?
