Texas Tech-UT Game Sold Out, Earliest In School History

Just about any Texas Tech fan can tell you that the game against the burnt orange wearing Longhorns is one of, if not the most anticipated games every year. This year, Texas Tech sold out the November 1st game against the University of Texas before the season even started. This marks the earliest sellout of a single game in school history.

"Texas Tech’s match-up against the University of Texas on Nov. 1 at Jones AT&T Stadium has sold out, marking the earliest sellout of a game in school history.The final remaining tickets were purchased on Wednesday morning and fans wanting Texas tickets are now being directed to Vivid Seats, the official ticket reseller for Texas Tech Athletics.Fans who have not made a ticket purchase for the 2014 season still have opportunities to purchase individual game tickets for Central Arkansas, Arkansas, West Virginia, Kansas and Oklahoma through the athletics ticket office. These tickets are available due to returns from visiting teams and from the sections previously reserved for their full marching bands. No visiting team will bring a full marching band to Jones AT&T Stadium this season."
