1. Darcel McBath (2005-2008)
In terms of post-collegiate longevity and success, McBath runs away with this contest. He was also an extremely talented and productive player while in Lubbock as well.
McBath played in 45 games while he was a Red Raider, racking up 224 tackles, 12 interceptions (including seven of those from the 2008 season), two interceptions returned for touchdowns, one fumble recovery, one fumble recovery for a touchdown and one forced fumble.
McBath really did it all, and was a huge reason why the 2008 Red Raiders had a stout defense. After his senior season, he was drafted in the second round of the 2009 NFL draft by the Denver Broncos. He has played for the Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars and San Fransisco 49ers and is now an unrestricted free agent.
