The last WR Tech brought in from Wichita Falls, Eric Ward, developed into one of the most productive receivers in program history.
At 6’5”, Vasher is the tall and rangy type of wide receiver Tech has focused on landing, due to the lack of size at WR on the current roster. Ranked the No. 246 prospect in the nation, Vasher holds offers from Ohio St., Colorado, Ole Miss, and SMU, and has also drawn interest from Texas A&M, TCU, Oklahoma, Texas, Oregon, and Baylor. Vasher is a former teammate of Ohio St. quarterback J.T. Barrett.
Last season, the junior caught 63 passes for 993-yards and 12 touchdowns.
