Da’Leon Ward committed to Texas Tech in the middle of February, but is making his first trip to Tech this weekend.

Ward is 5’10” and 180 lbs. and ranked as the No. 58 prospect in the state of Texas. Tech has another Skyline product currently on its roster in sophomore safety Derrick Dixon, and the program trying to build a strong relationship with Skyline H.S. which produces a number of top players every year.
