No. 10: Iowa State
Steven Branscombe-USA TODAY Sports
Iowa State has some “good” going for them at the other offensive skill positions, but the luck runs out at running back. The Cyclones lost solid back Aaron Wimberly to seniority, and the projected returning starter, DeVondrick Nealy, has left the program. This leaves the Cyclones with their top two returning backs having a total of 156-yards rushing, and not much size to speak of. This will undoubtedly lead to redshirt freshman Mike Warren to get some playing time and show his great speed. Pinning your hopes on a freshman is never the best option in the Big 12, but with so much talent at the wide receiver position, it just might be enough in 2015.
