Jalen Hurts, Channelview, TX (4-star dual threat quarterback):
Perhaps the most impressive athlete on Tech’s quarterback radar, Hurts will be difficult to land. He has received offers from Texas A&M, Alabama, and Mississippi St. among others. It was reported that Hurts attended the A&M spring game, so it looks like they are in the driver’s seat at this point.

You can find my full analysis of Hurts’ film here, but in summary, Hurts would be a fantastic pickup for Tech. However, he seems to be taking his time with the entire recruiting process. Tech will have to keep working hard to land him while still courting other prospects.
Hurts is the No. 8 ranked dual-threat quarterback in the nation, passing for 2,545-yards, 21 touchdowns and only six interceptions as a junior.
