We close out the 2015 offensive preseason position rankings by taking a look at each team’s offensive line.  One thing the Big 12 has not been known for lately is quality along the OL, but this may be the year that changes that.

Here we go…

No. 1 Texas Tech:

There was a very close race at the top, and Texas Tech inched out Baylor.  The Red Raiders return four starters, including two-time All-Big 12 and Freshman All-American Le’Raven Clark.  The only question along the line at this point is who will replace RT Reshod Fortenberry.  The answer seems to lie with redshirt freshman Justin Murphy, but might also be found in one of the outstanding young true freshmen, Madison Akamnonu, or Conner Dyer.

Overall, this line was very successful last year, including a No.2 ranking in the country for opponent adjusted sack rate.  OL Coach Lee Hays is also a major factor, and has been a tremendous part of the line’s success.
