For the surprising amount of talent Iowa State will have on its roster in 2015, defensive line will not be one of them. With the return of defensive tackle Mitchell Meyers unlikely, the Cyclones will be searching for players to step up in their first years. The defensive line will certainly be a work in progress as the season progresses, but maybe the coaching staff can get contributions from enough players to have a patchwork line that holds together better than last year’s iteration.
