There is no true weakness in this roster

This is an absolutely loaded roster with no glaring weakness.  The defensive backfield is the only area where teams might find something to attack but with three of the top ball-hawks to ever wear the Double-T, that unit is nothing to sneeze at.

But with the defensive line and linebackers that the DFW team would have, quarterbacks might not have enough time to get rid of the ball.   And the linebacking corps would be nearly impossible to run through thanks to Hastings and Banks.

On offense, good luck stopping this team.  Harrell was the most cerebral quarterback in program history. The current offensive coordinator at USC, he was known as a coach on the field and with weapons like Crabtree, Grant, Francis, and Peters at his disposal, he would be unstoppable.

The running back rotation would be every bit as dangerous with four of the program’s three leading rushers to carry the ball.  They would punish defenses for selling out to stop Harrell and the passing game.

The offensive line is the second-weakest part of the team with no All-Americans.  But it is a solid group comprised of five multi-year starters.

In all, this could be the most loaded all-time Texas Tech team.  Any time a team has the program’s all-time leading passer, receiver, rusher, and pass rusher, it would be hard to imagine a stronger roster.
