2026 Senior Bowl - How to watch Texas Tech’s stars compete: TV channel, kickoff time

When this season’s Senior Bowl gets kickoff in Mobile, Alabama, it sure looks like Texas Tech football fans will have an extra good reason to tune in and check out what some of the best members of the Red Raiders will be doing to try to improve their draft stock. 

A total of five different former Red Raiders will be representing Texas Tech this season on the National Roster.

  • Jacob Rodriguez - Linebacker 
  • Lee Hunter - Defensive lineman
  • Romello Height - Outside linebacker
  • Caleb Douglas - Wide receiver
  • Reggie Virgil - Wide receiver

Rodriguez had a season that earned him a number of Heisman Trophy votes, Hunter dominated defensive lines, Height thrived in chasing down quarterbacks, Douglas led Texas Tech in receiving yards, and Virgil led the Red Raiders in receptions.

All five of these Texas Tech stars were a blast to watch this past season and now they’ll be competing with the aim of trying to get to the next level.

Here’s everything you need to know about the 2026 Senior Bowl as five former Red Raiders represent Texas Tech on the national stage and try to improve their NFL Draft stock.

  • When: Saturday, January 31, 2026
  • Where: Mobile, Alabama
  • Venue: Hancock Whitney Stadium (home of the University of South Alabama)
  • Kickoff time: 1:30 p.m.
  • TV Channel: NFL Network

With the Senior Bowl taking place on Saturday, practices for the game happened throughout the week from Tuesday through Thursday. And with this being such an NFL-centric sort of event these days, it’s worth pointing to the fact that the game will be broadcast on the NFL Network. 

It’s also worth remembering that the practices also serve to help the players continue to boost their standings with the NFL scouts present all throughout the week.
