Folks, it’s just about time for the Territorial Cup and we might get to see a bit of Big 12 chaos!
The Arizona State Sun Devils are technically still in the race for the Big 12 championship game (but it would take a ton of weird outcomes and bizarre tiebreaker situations for that to actually pan out) and the Arizona Wildcats look like they’re ready to hand Kenny Dillingham and the defending Big 12 champs a loss.
Arizona is currently on a four game winning streak while the Sun Devils are on a three game winning streak of their own. Both of these teams look pretty solid. Both of these teams have shocked some folks at various times throughout the season.
Oh! And both of these teams have drawn the attention of Top 25 poll voters! The Sun Devils and Wildcats, both at 8-3 on the season, have done more than enough to get attention from the folks ranking teams throughout the year.
I’m FASCINATED by this year’s matchup and I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.

Why is this Big 12 game interesting for Texas Tech fans?
Technically speaking, this is a game that could play into who makes it to the Big 12 championship game this season. The Sun Devils are still in the race, but they’re going to need a win against Arizona and then also have some help from across the conference to cause some ties and force some tiebreakers.
It’s just not likely (but it isn’t impossible!) that'll play out that way.
Why else is this game interesting?
Well, the winner has a real shot at getting to double digit wins this season thanks to a possible bowl win and both of these teams have managed to string together some really impressive performances this season. I love these sorts of matchups.
