We’ve already watched seven Big 12 football games take place across Thursday and Friday. Now we get to watch plenty more happen today. There’s plenty of college football going on all across the country, but the Big 12 has eight games happening on Saturday (and then one later on Labor Day, but we’ll get to that later).

For now, it’s time to start scheduling out your day. I don’t expect you to exclusively watch Big 12 football throughout the day. There are too many great games happening across the country. Like the No. 1 Texas Longhorns going to the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes for an 11 a.m. matchup. Or No. 9 LSU going to No. 4 Clemson. Heck, No. 8 Alabama is headed to Florida State, which might get weird.

There’s plenty going on across the country. Here’s what you need to know to keep up with the Big 12 football schedule today.

Early afternoon Big 12 games

  • Robert Morris vs. West Virginia Mountaineers - 1 p.m. in Morgantown, West Virginia
  • South Dakota vs. No. 22 Iowa State Cyclones - 2:30 p.m. in Ames, Iowa

The first Big 12 college football game of the day is out in Morgantown, West Virginia as Rich Rodriguez and the West Virginia Mountaineers face off against Robert Morris. This probably won’t be too close of a game, the Mountaineers will likely score a bunch of points.

A little while later, we’ve got the No. 22 Iowa State Cyclones looking to pick up another win. But that likely won’t be too difficult as they’ve managed to schedule a game against South Dakota in Ames. A home game against South Dakota is much more manageable than last week’s trip to Ireland for Farmageddon.

Big 12 evening football games

  • North Dakota vs. No. 17 Kansas State Wildcats - 6:30 p.m. in Manhattan, Kansas
  • Arkansas-Pine Bluff vs. No. 23 Texas Tech Red Raiders - 6:30 p.m. in Lubbock, Texas
  • Portland State vs. BYU Cougars - 7 p.m. in Provo, Utah

Speaking of Farmageddon and a team from the Dakotas, we’ve got the No. 17 Kansas State Wildcats welcoming North Dakota to Manhattan for a 6:30 p.m. matchup. At that same time, we’ve got No. 23 Texas Tech facing off against the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions.

Roughly 30 minutes after the start of the Kansas State and Texas Tech games, we’ve got the BYU Cougars hosting Portland State in Provo, Utah.

Night games for Big 12 fans who want to drink coffee late

  • Northern Arizona vs. No. 11 Arizona State Sun Devils - 9 p.m. in Tempe, Arizona
  • Hawai’i vs. Arizona Wildcats - 9:30 p.m. in Tucson, Arizona
  • Utah Utes vs. UCLA - 10 p.m. in Pasadena, California

If you’d like to stay up late instead of sleeping and would like to enjoy something that might resemble the old school Pac-12 After Dark shenanigans, there are three games on the schedule, ready for you. Arizona State will welcome Northern Arizona to Tempe around the same time that Arizona gets to face off against Hawai’i. Meanwhile, Utah is headed to Pasadena to face UCLA.
