Well, the Kansas State Wildcats have just about completely turned their season around! After that rough start where they stumbled to 1-3, K-State has managed to bounce back and secure a spot in a bowl game after beating the Colorado Buffaloes.
Chris Klieman and his staff really struggled early on, but Kansas State still closed out the season in an impressive way. It’s clear that the Wildcats aren’t a truly great team, but they’ve managed to lock up a spot in a bowl game, which is certainly better than staying home after the regular season wraps up and before the offseason really gets situated.

- Oklahoma State Cowboys (1-10 overall, 0-8 Big 12)
And the season is officially over for Colorado. The Buffaloes have some major changes that they need to get sorted this offseason. I get that they lost a lot of talent from last year, but dropping to just three wins this season is alarming.
Deion Sanders has proved that he can assemble an impressive amount of talent, but it remains to be seen if he can get Colorado turned around in a more comprehensive way that is lasting. Sustaining that success is going to be important. Winning just one game in Big 12 play? That’s concerning. We’ll see how Sanders works to address the issues from this season. Maybe this was an anomaly?
