The Texas Tech Lady Raiders women’s basketball team is off to an incredibly solid start. I mean, it’s just a really, really impressive run that Texas Tech is on right now. After handling the Houston Cougars, Texas Tech is still unbeaten as the Lady Raiders are now 19-0 overall, 6-0 in Big 12 play, and clearly one of the most impressive teams in the conference.
Admittedly, it does help that the Lady Raiders were facing off against arguably the absolute worst of the worst teams in the conference right now. With the loss to Texas Tech in Lubbock, UH is now sitting at 6-11 on the season and they’re winless in the Big 12. The Cougars are just flat out awful this season.
But still, Texas Tech deserves an abundance of credit for securing a double digit conference win to stretch the winning streak out to 19 games.

Again, UH isn’t great, but it’s still really impressive that Texas Tech just keeps winning and securing wins this season. That’s what matters here. And again, the Lady Raiders beat Houston by double digits (12 points to be exact), which is also great.
