Don’t expect the NFL Draft attention to slow down any time soon.

As the college football offseason continues on and 30 of the 32 NFL teams have been eliminated and sent home (and their respective fanbases continue to grow a little restless about what’s next for the future of their favorite teams), the conversation about the future of college football’s best players will continue to pick up steam.

That includes David Bailey, the star pass rusher for the Texas Tech Red Raiders who dominated just about every offensive line he faced throughout the season. We’ve already noted how the folks over at Athlon Sports have Bailey getting selected very early on in the first round.

Now we can talk about how FOX Sports has Bailey set to go to the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

FOX Sports projects Texas Tech pass rushing star David Bailey to end up with the Baltimore Ravens in 2026 NFL Mock Draft

As the folks over at FOX Sports point out, Bailey is going to get a ton of interest from NFL teams because of the way that he produced. The 163 total tackles throughout his career combine nicely with the 42 tackles for loss and the 29 sacks that Bailey racked up across his time with the Stanford Cardinal and the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Of course, FOX Sports does also point to him being a bit smaller than some others who play the same sort of role that he does, but who knows if that will actually count against Bailey. With the way that he dominated all throughout the season and the way that he improved all throughout his career on a year-by-year sort of basis, it’s possible that NFL folks will look past that a bit.

We’ll see how it plays out.

If Bailey ends up going in the first round, whether it’s at No. 4 overall to the Titans or No. 14 overall to the Ravens, that’s still a huge accomplishment for both Bailey and for the Red Raiders. And it’s something to celebrate.
