Let’s go ahead and take another moment to be proud of what Shiel Wood and the Texas Tech Red Raiders defense have accomplished this season. Because truly, fully, what Shiel Wood and the Texas Tech football team are doing on the defensive side of things is truly remarkable.
Go ahead and give the man his flowers because the Red Raider defense went from being among the absolute worst in the country and a truly dreadful thing to try and watch to being among the most successful in the country.
There are so many areas in which the Red Raiders have managed to fully and truly thrive on the defensive side of things and I didn’t even know Texas Tech could actually have a successful defense, let alone one of the best in the Big 12.
Right now, the Red Raiders have the Big 12’s best scoring defense when facing conference teams, which feels like a good thing to lead as we enter Week 10.
