Following Texas Tech’s struggles in Fort Worth, Tim Tadlock and the Texas Tech baseball team really needed a win to get a little bit of momentum back. Thankfully for the Red Raiders, they got just that as they faced off against the Abilene Christian Wildcats.
Texas Tech was able to return home and snap its three-game losing streak with a really solid 15-4 win over the ACU Wildcats on Tuesday night. The losing streak is broken. Texas Tech now has to look forward and try to build momentum in a crowded Big 12.
In the win, Texas Tech managed to rack up its 15 runs off of 17 hits. The Red Raiders just flat out looked like a complete team. Granted, it helped that they were playing ACU, but still. Texas Tech needed this sort of win.
