How to watch Texas Tech basketball vs. Bethune-Cookman: Game notes and more
Tonight the Texas Tech basketball team takes on Bethune-Cookman to open the 2024-25 season. It is the start of the 100th season in program history and one of the most highly anticipated.
After making a run to the NCAA Tournament last season, much is expected out of the Red Raiders. That's because of the return of key contributors such as Darrion Williams, Kerwin Walton, and Chance McMillan along with the additions of key transfers JT Toppin, Elijah Hawkins, Kevin Overton, and Federiko Federiko.
Of course, there is also optimism that the second year of the Grant McCasland era will result in a step forward for the program. For his career, the Red Raider head coach has averaged 25.4 wins per season as a Division I head coach.
Now, the expectation is that he will approach that number this year with a talented and deep Red Raider team. It is also expected that he will take the Red Raiders on a run in March after being eliminated in the first round of the NCAA Tournament last season.
So let's take a look at everything fans need to know ahead of tonight's game. We'll start with the broadcast information.
