I mean, a second half vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff isn’t necessary for Texas Tech

There is absolutely no need for the Texas Tech Red Raiders to keep playing this game. None whatsoever. We’ve already seen just how good the Red Raiders offense can be with Mack Leftwich when it’s operating smoothly and at a high level. We’ve already seen the dominance of Shiel Woods’ defense and how it can smother opponents like Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

This game is already incredibly one sided. There is absolutely, positively no need for the Texas Tech football team to play a second half against the Golden Lions.

Now, I’m not saying that Joey McGuire and the Red Raiders should forfeit or anything. But what I am saying is that Texas Tech doesn’t need to play a second half against Arkansas-Pine Bluff and that it wouldn’t hurt my feelings if this weather delay somehow magically ended the game.

Texas Tech is in a halftime weather delay against Arkansas-Pine Bluff and it’d actually be fine if the game ended right now

Again, for those that don’t know, Texas Tech isn’t playing football right at this second because of some weather issues that are taking place.

And that’s a bummer. I hate to see that. I also think that the Red Raiders have done more than enough to prove that they are a capable team and they’ve already scored 47 points against Arkansas-Pine Bluff and I have such a hard time imagining that the Golden Lions will end up mounting a comeback in this game.

There’s just no way!

In terms of net total yards of offense, Texas Tech has 392. 146 of those yards come from just 18 rushing attempts (which is good for 8.1 yards per carry and has resulted in two rushing touchdowns). 246 of those total yards comes from the 246 net passing yards that the Red Raiders have.

On the other side of things, Arkansas-Pine Bluff has a grand total of 53 net total yards. That, my friends, is a good indicator that Texas Tech is in control of this game. Another good indicator? Well, this game is 47-0 in Texas Tech’s favor. I don’t think a second half is necessary to determine the better team here.
