Ollie Gordon's 1,732-yard, 21-TD season for Oklahoma State last year was truly remarkable. Not only did it come out of nowhere in respect to his career, he had run for only 267 yards the season before, but it came from out of nowhere in the context of the season.

In OSU's first three games, Gordon had only 19 combined carries for 109 yards and a pair of TDs. After that, he would go wild.

In the final 11 games of the year, he had 266 carries and he topped the 100-yard mark nine times. He averaged 147.5 yards per game in that span.

What separates Gordon from Brooks is his big-play ability. He averaged 6.1 yards per carry and he had two games in which he had at least 25 carries and averaged at least 9.7 yards per rush. In fact, against Cincinnati, he averaged 10.8 yards per carry on 25 carries.
