Where does Tahj Brooks rank in the Big 12 running back hierarchy as we look toward the 2024 football season?

A former FCS player, Cam Skattebo Jr. impressed last season as he stepped up to the FBS level for Arizona State. In 2023, he earned All-PAC 12 Honorable Mention honors after posting 783 yards and nine TDs for a bad Sun Devil squad.

He was the 10th-highest rusher in that conference a year ago. He had three 100-yard games last season (against USC, Washington State, and Arizona) proving that he can play well against tougher teams. In each of those games, he averaged 5.8 yards per carry proving he can break off some big runs.

Skattebo is also a passing game threat. Last year he caught 24 passes for 286 yards and another TD.

Arizona State topped the 30-point mark only once last year and in that 38-27 win over Washington State, he had 121 yards on just 11 carries. In his three 100-yard games, ASU averaged 29.6 points per game proving that he is what drives the engine for the offense in the desert.
