It feels as if Neal has been tormenting Big 12 defenses for ages. Now, in his final season in Lawrence, he could help propel the Jayhawks to being a darkhorse conference title contender.
Last season, the explosive RB galloped his way to 1,280 yards and 16 TDs. Along the way, he ran for 6.3 yards per carry.
With six 100-yard games in 2023, he helped Kansas go 9-4 on the season. In four of those 100-yard games, the Jayhawks were victorious.
If QB Jalon Daniels can finally stay healthy in 2024, the Jayhawks could have the best offense in the Big 12. Neal would be a huge part of that because, like Daniels, he has game-breaking abilities.
