The Texas Tech football program has a long history of putting players in the NFL. In fact, the program has had 168 players drafted since the first player from Tech, Herschel Ramsey, was taken in the 1938 NFL Draft.

Along the way, seven Red Raiders have earned Pro Bowl or AFL All-Star honors. Meanwhile, another 12 have won Super Bowl or AFL Championships.

Of course, 2023 saw Patrick Mahomes II capture his third Super Bowl MVP honor as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in overtime.
