Offensive line

LT - Ty Buchanan

LG - Vinny Sciury

C - Caleb Rogers

RG- Davion Carter

RT - Maurice Rodriques

The position in most flux for the Red Raiders is the offensive line. That's where the team is expected to return no starters from a year ago in the same position.

What's more, the only 2023 starter who will return is Caleb Rogers. He'll be moving from right tackle to center.

At left tackle, Ty Buchanan likely enters the spring as the starter after getting the start in the Independence Bowl. Of course, that happened because incumbent starter Monroe Mills was in the portal (he would eventually land at Louisville). Buchanan will have to battle it out with Middle Tennessee State transfer Sterling Porcher who could also win the job with a nice spring.

The two guard spots will likely go to transfers Vinnie Sciury from Toledo and Davion Carter from Memphis. Meanwhile, right tackle will also be up for grabs with big JUCO signee Maurice Rodriques and returning redshirt freshman Kaden Carr the two likely candidates.

This will likely be the position group that defines how strong the Red Raider offense will be in 2024. With new OoffensiveL coach, Clay McGuire in place, expectations are high for the offenisve line which needs to take a step forward from where it's been in the past two seasons.
