It isn't hard to name Texas Tech's greatest all-time receiver. That's because Michael Crabtree is easily one of the best receivers to ever play college football. A College Football Hall of Fame member, he is also a Texas Tech football Ring of Honor inductee.
The first player to ever win the Biletnikoff Award twice (2007-08), Crabtree is still one of only two players to capture that award two times in his career.
What's amazing is that Crabtree put up 3,127 career receiving yards and 41 touchdown catches in just two seasons of college football. That's because he had to redshirt in 2006 due to a problem with his high school transcript.
Of course, Crabtree is best known for his iconic last-second TD catch against No. 1 Texas in 2008. It remains the greatest single play in Red Raider history and it's fitting that the best wide receiver to ever wear the Scarlet and Black made that unforgettable moment possible.
