Here's a look at all of the FBS teams that the Texas Tech football program has never faced.

Texas Tech vs. Atlantic Coast Conference

Virginia Tech Hokies: It would be great to see these two "Techs" face off. The pedigree of both schools is similar and each seems to be a university with a bit of a chip on its shoulder.

Pitt Panthers: The Panthers have produced such superstars as Dan Marino, Tony Dorsett, and Aaron Donald. They have a strong football tradition despite not being nationally relevant for decades. Still, they would seem to be an odd dance partner for Texas Tech to schedule.

Syracuse Orange: Another program with a proud history that hasn't been relevant in most fans' lifetimes, Syracuse and Texas Tech would make for a strange pairing.

Louisville Cardinals: A matchup with Louisville would make sense for Texas Tech. Both programs are of similar prestige and hold relatively the same clout in the sport. This year, the Cardinals will be led by former Texas Tech QB Tyler Shough.
