Texas Tech, believe it or not, has never played these FBS teams
Here's a look at all of the FBS teams that the Texas Tech football program has never faced.
Texas Tech vs. Mid-American Conference
Most of the Mid-American Conference are teams that the Red Raiders have never played. In fact, of the twelve teams in that league, Tech has faced only Miami (OH). That matchup was played in 1948 in the Sun Bowl. Miami (OH) prevailed 13-12.
The teams from this league don't make regional sense for Texas Tech so not many are likely to be future opponents. However, in 2025, Tech will face Kent State in Lubbock after buying out of a road game at Colorado State.
