Cole Spencer

Offensive Line

Tennessee Titans

Undrafted Free Agent

Another player who saw his Red Raider career impacted by injuries was Cole Spencer. However, the offensive lineman is getting his shot with the Tennessee Titans.

Spencer began his career at Western Kentucky where he played three seasons, including one for current Texas Tech offensive coordinator Zach Kittley. After Kittley left WKU to come home to Tech, he brought Spencer with him to help fix the Red Raiders' offensive line woes.

However, Spencer missed the entire 2022 season due to a preseason injury. He came back in 2023 to start six games but those were the only contests he appeared in at Tech.

Unfortunately, injuries prevented us from seeing Spencer at his best. Had he been fully healthy, he was supposed to be Tech's best offensive lineman and he could have possibly played his way into being a draft pick. Instead, he'll have to fight through the ranks of the undrafted free agents if he wants to have an NFL career.
