Texas Tech football dates back to 1925. Over that time, the program has played 1,110 games. Tech's 597-481-32 overall record in that time gives the program a winning percentage of .552, the 51st-best out of all FBS programs.

Recently, we took a look at the teams that Tech has played but never beaten. Today, let's flip the script and look at programs that the Red Raiders have never lost to.

Texas Tech is undefeated vs. these ACC programs

Clemson Tigers (1-0-0)
Duke Blue Devils (1-0-0)
Virginia Cavilers (1-0-0)
Wake Forest Demon Deacons(2-0-0)

The Red Raiders don't tangle with ACC opponents too often. In fact, 2022's game at N.C. State was the first time Tech had faced a team from that conference since 2008.

That game in 2008 was a memorable one with the Red Raiders taking down No. 20 Virginia 31-28 in the Gator Bowl. That day, Graham Harrell, Michael Crabtree, and Co. erased a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit to pull out an improbable win.

Bowl games have been where Tech has faced a number of ACC opponents. For instance, the only time Tech has met Clemson was in the 2002 Tangerine Bowl. That day, in his last game as a Red Raider QB, Kliff Kingsbury led the way to a 55-15 win.

In 1989, Tech dominated Duke in the All-American Bowl. The 49-21 win was one of only two bowl wins in the Spike Dykes era.

However, the two meetings between Tech and Wake Forest were regular-season affairs. The Red Raiders won 12-7 in Lubbock in 1940 and then 35-6 in 1941 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
