Texas Tech is undefeated against these PAC 12 programs

Oregon State Beavers (1-0-0)
Utah (2-0-0)
Washington State (2-0-0)

Texas Tech has played plenty of games against PAC 12 teams. But with that conference in disarray due to college football realignment, those meetings might be fewer and farther between in the future.

Tech has only faced Oregon State once. Back in 1959, the Red Raiders prevailed 15-14 in Lubbock.

The Red Raiders are soon to be conference mates with Utah starting this fall. Currently, the Red Raiders have wins over the Utes in both 1972 and 1973, both coming in Lubbock. The programs will meet again in 2025 in Utah as Big 12 rivals.

It's been a while since Tech played Washington State as well. That will change in week two of the 2024 season, though. It will be the first time this series has been played since 1964, a 28-10 Red Raider win in Lubbock. The year prior, the Red Raiders beat the Cougars 16-7 at Jones Stadium.

SEC

Auburn (1-0-0)

The only SEC team Tech is undefeated against is Auburn. The 35-13 win in the 1954 Gator Bowl is famous for being the first Texas Tech game ever broadcast on television as well as being the first time the Masked Rider ever led the Red Raiders onto the field.
