Big 12 fans shouldn't be shocked to see Bill Self and Kansas making big waves this offseason after a disappointing 2023-24 campaign. The Jayhawks have added five transfers with four of them being four-star players according to 247Sports.

The biggest star of that group is A.J. Storr, a junior transfer from Wisconsin. The 6-foot-6 guard began his career at St. John's before playing for the Badgers and helping them to the NCAA Tournament this past season.

Along the way, he averaged 16.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. That was essentially double the scoring output he posted as a true freshman.

Storr is a classic shoot-first guard. He averaged only 0.9 assists per game this past season.

What's more, he averaged 13.8 shot attempts with 4.2 of those being from beyond the arc. Thus, it appears that Self has found his new go-to offensive-minded shooting guard.

As expected, the Big 12 just continues to get tougher with each passing year. The additions of Arizona, Colorado, Arizona State, and Utah will only make the league more daunting in 2024-25.

So too will these transfers who have all joined teams that expect to contend near the top of the league. The Big 12 isn't for the faint of heart and with these new faces coming to wreck shop next season, the conference will once again be a grind all season long.
