After a lengthy and really successful college career, Romello Height is set to continue his journey by going to Mobile, Alabama to compete in the 2026 Senior Bowl. The Red Raiders’ pass rushing star has officially wrapped up his college career and will be taking the next step as he tries to make a spot for himself in the NFL somewhere.
After getting his career started by spending two years with the Auburn Tigers and then transferring to the USC Trojans for a couple more seasons, Height spent a season each with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and then the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
And as a sixth year player with the Red Raiders, Height truly thrived. He was a huge reason for Texas Tech going out and getting a dozen wins this season as his presence on the defense made it incredibly difficult for opposing offensive linemen and quarterbacks.

During the season, Height managed to record a total of 38 combined tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks. He was a force that very few offensive linemen, tight ends, running backs, and quarterbacks enjoyed trying to tangle with.
Height had a tremendous impact on Texas Tech’s defensive front and was able to provide the Red Raiders with a big play on numerous occasions. All throughout the season, Height caught the attention of Red Raider football fans and folks who love seeing a talented pass rusher terrorize a quarterback.
Now at the Senior Bowl, Height has a chance to showcase his skills to the folks who will help decision makers at the next level figure out who they want to draft. This isn’t going to be the only data point that they use, but it could certainly do a lot to help Height out.
