Well. That Texas Tech baseball game against the TCU Horned Frogs was an absolute disaster for Tim Tadlock and the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Unfortunately for Tadlock and the Texas Tech baseball team, that is now the second time that the Red Raiders have lost to TCU in just two days.Â
Which, you know, that’s not great!Â
When you combine a walkoff loss in the 13th inning for Game 2’s results and with the truly and absolutely awful 18-8 blowout loss in Game 1, you get a lot of frustration. A lot of anger with how things are going for the Texas Tech baseball program. Fans aren’t happy (which is certainly understandable, I don’t think people are going to be very patient for much longer.Â
Something tells me that there’s a noteworthy group out there of Texas Tech fans who don’t like spending money on a program that is struggling like this.  Something tells me that the Red Raiders need to get back to winning to get more support from fans.
Texas Tech baseball fans are far from being thrilled after seeing the Red Raiders walked off in the 13th inning
Here’s what Texas Tech fans had to say after watching the Red Raiders lose (again) against the TCU Horned Frogs:
23 hits and zero errors and you lose to a team that committed three, the time has come, clean house

We’re only allowing an average of 14 runs per game in this series. That’s not bad, huh?

Can we please stop losing after scoring a lot of runs

Things are absolutely not going well for the Red Raiders and Texas Tech fans are right to be irate about the current direction of the Texas Tech baseball program. There’s no real clear path to this season being significantly better.Â
I don’t understand why Will Jordan was pulled.

At least not any time soon. It just doesn’t seem like the Red Raiders will have a magical improvement for this season. It’d take something weird and drastic to change for the Texas Tech baseball team to suddenly improve over just one night.Â
Terrible coach decision relieving pitchers like that

While the Red Raiders are great at the plate, it’s clear that the pitching staff might truly doom Texas Tech’s season. Texas Tech has some massive, alarming pitching issues and all of them are more than evident and present in Texas Tech’s matchup with the TCU Horned Frogs.
