It is hard to blame Texas Tech basketball fans for enjoying themselves right now. With Tuesday's 81-71 win over Cincinnati, the Red Raiders are one of the hottest teams in the Big 12 at 5-2 in league play and riding a three-game winning streak.

It's been quite the turnaround for head coach Grant McCasland and his team. When the calendar turned to 2025, the Red Raiders were coming off of an inexplicable home loss to UCF to open conference action and they were just 0-3 combined in Quad-1 or 2 games.

Since then, though, the Red Raiders have righted the ship. Road wins over Utah, BYU, Kansas State, and Cincinnati as well as an impressive home win over Arizona have Tech flying high.

What's more, the Red Raiders could easily be 6-1 in conference play. Had they not missed three critical free throws down the stretch against then-No. 3 Iowa State in Lubbock back on January 11, the Red Raiders would be among the teams tied for second place in the Big 12 standings behind undefeated Houston.

As it sits, the Red Raiders are still in great shape to have a nice conference run. Already with five conference wins, the Red Raiders are trending in the right direction and they face two very winnable home games against Oklahoma State and TCU up next.

Of course, Tech fans are never a group to celebrate a victory silently. That's especially true when beating one of the newer members of the Big 12 as it seems that Red Raider fans take special joy in beating some of their newest conference brethren.

Tuesday was the first time Texas Tech has ever beaten Cincinnati in basketball and Tech fans made the most of their opportunity to celebrate by taking to social media. Let's look at some of the best posts from X that Red Raider fans made in the wake of their team's latest win.
