Texas Tech fans have a blast on social media after incredible comeback vs. Arkansas

The Texas Tech basketball fan base was split between disbelief and jubilation after the team's unthinkable comeback win over the Razorbacks in the Sweet 16.

Texas Tech fans aren't accustomed to being on the right side of the type of heroics we witnessed on Thursday night. Our teams seem to never be the ones that orchestrate the improbable and pull rabits out of their hats.

That's what happened, though, in the Sweet 16 as the Red Raiders rallied from down 16 points in the second half to stun Arkansas and advance to the program's third all-time Elite Eight. And what a roller coaster of emotions the 85-83 overtime win proved to be.

Tech stumbled out of the gates. Continuing a disturbing trend during the NCAA Tournament, the Red Raiders were ice-cold from 3-point range in the first half, allowing Arkansas to lead by as many as 11 points.

However, the Red Raiders somehow managed to trail only 38-31 at the break. Unfortunately, the second half started by heading in the same direction as the lifeless Red Raiders had no answer for an Arkansas team that looked like a team capable of winning an NBA title.

Most fans know that Tech has not been blown out of a game once this season, and that was due to the fight that head coach Grant McCasland has been able to coax out of his squad. Tech didn't give up in the Sweet 16 either, and neither did Red Raider fans.

In fact, despite the fact that the game didn't end until around midnight Central time, Tech fans were all over social media to celebrate the win. So let's take a look at some of the most hilarious, heartfelt, and happy posts from Texas Tech fans following this unimaginable win.
