A number of things are going wrong for the Texas Tech Red Raiders against the Oregon Ducks. I mean, the Orange Bowl just simply has been an absolute disaster for Joey McGuire and the Red Raiders. At halftime, Texas Tech found itself down 6-0 to the Ducks, but it felt like a truly insurmountable lead for Oregon.

And so much of what isn’t working for Texas Tech and why this game is such a mess is because the Red Raiders offense has absolutely, completely, and totally disappeared in the Orange Bowl. The Red Raiders just can’t figure out how to move the ball against the Ducks defense.

Right now, in the third quarter, the Red Raiders are down 13-0 and Texas Tech football fans are desperate to see some sort of change for the Red Raiders. Right now, they're calling on Cody Campbell to help things improve.

Texas Tech fans are openly asking for Campbell to buy the Red Raiders a new offense. Or quarterback. Folks just want to see things change.

Texas Tech’s offense absolutely evaporated in the Orange Bowl vs Oregon and Red Raider fans are desperate for a change

Here’s how Red Raider fans are reacting to the dreadful offense that we’ve seen from Texas Tech against the Oregon Ducks:

Red Raider fans are certainly right to be disappointed and frustrated and angry and so on and so forth. The offense has been an absolute mess. But it is worth remembering that Oregon’s defense is just flat out really good.

Still, given the way that Cody Campbell has helped elevate the Red Raiders with this roster, it’s understandable that Texas Tech fans would flock to his mentions and ask for him to help fix this sort of mess.

The game isn’t done just yet. The Red Raiders still have 15 more minutes to figure out how to get on the board and score some points, but so far, things aren’t looking all that great for Joey McGuire and Texas Tech.
