Could you ask for a much better start for the 2025 Texas Tech football season? I mean, we’re talking about a ridiculously efficient start to the season where the offense has already scored over 40 points to get the game started. And Texas Tech’s defense looks good! It’s a Christmas miracle!

There’s so much for Texas Tech fans to enjoy with the way this game has started. So much. And it really seems like Texas Tech football fans are enjoying seeing the Red Raiders effortlessly jump out to a tremendous lead to start the 2025 college football season.

I mean, the Red Raiders are thriving on offense and defense and even special teams. We’ve seen a ton of points scored, plenty of pressure from the Red Raiders’ defensive front, and a few field goals and a blocked punt.

And thus, a 47-0 lead over the Golden Lions. What a great way to get this season going.

Texas Tech football fans react to thrilling first half for the Red Raiders vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions

Here’s what Texas Tech fans are saying as the Red Raiders have jumped out to a DOMINANT lead over the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions in the first half.

The offense? It’s great. So much fun. I’m not alone in enjoying the Red Raiders move up and down the field with relative ease against the Golden Lions defense. And that isn't all that surprising. There's a rather large amount of talent on that side of the ball for Texas Tech and the Red Raiders have Mack Leftwich orchestrating things.

This has been such a great start for the Red Raiders.

Heck, why not? Let’s go 12-0.

The Red Raiders having a pretty impressive performance from the Texas Tech defense is so great to see. I don’t know what it’ll look like when Texas Tech faces a better, more talented offense, but I’m on board with this so much right now.
