Another Texas Tech softball game, another dominant win for the Red Raiders. This time, Texas Tech was in Abilene beating the Abilene Christian Wildcats to extend the Red Raiders’ current winning streak out to 10 games thanks to their 9-1 run-rule win over ACU.

It took just five innings for the No. 2 Red Raiders to get their road win over ACU. Texas Tech is now sitting at 35-2 on the season thanks to the way Kaitlyn Terry took the circle and was able to take control of this game against the Wildcats.

Speaking of Terry, she is now 14-0 on the season. Oh! And NiJaree Canady made an appearance and was able to record three strikeouts. The whole game was great. Nothing to complain about here.

Texas Tech softball fans react to the Red Raiders crushing the ACU Wildcats on the road

Here’s what Texas Tech fans had to say about the Red Raiders and their lopsided run-rule win over the ACU Wildcats in Abilene:

It’s simple, it’s straightforward, and it’s enjoyable. Texas Tech softball fans sure should be thrilled with the way the Red Raiders are playing. There’s a ton of potential for this team to accomplish a lot and these little wins feel good to get.

Okay, I love this. What a great way to track this. There’s a lot of counting and a lot of emojis and also a lot of home runs for the Red Raiders. They’re really good at this whole “let’s score in all of the ways and punish our opponents” sort of thing.

And yeah, it was quick. That game was brief. Texas Tech went to Abilene and then just wrapped up the game in a hurry. No need to drag that one out. Let’s get the win and just keep rolling.

Texas Tech looks good. Really good. If the Red Raiders keep this up, we’re going to see this team crush a lot more folks down the stretch of the season. There’s a ton of potential here and I’m here for it.
