Entering Saturday's game at Iowa State, Texas Tech football fans were desperate to see the Red Raiders pick up a win to end a two-game losing streak. One Red Raider fan who goes by "Big Hen" on X even went so far as to say that if Tech were to beat the Cyclones, he would get a tattoo of Texas Tech offensive coordinator Zach Kittley on his rear end.

Fortunately, the Red Raiders were able to upset the No. 11 Cyclones 23-22 thanks to late heroics by running back Tahj Brooks who scored the game-winning touchdown with only 20 seconds left to play. Thus, "Big Hen" now has a promise to uphold.

After the game, Kittley replied to the post. He shared a picture of himself doing the "Guns Up" hand signal and wrote, "Use this one, it's one of my all time favorites".

Of course, Kittley has taken his share of criticism from Texas Tech fans, especially after last week's TCU game. Many fans blasted Kittley for his call to have true freshman QB Will Hammond run a designed QB draw on third down as Tech was trying to get into position for a potential game-winning field goal against the Horned Frogs. After Hammond lost a fumble on that play to cost the Red Raiders the game, calls for Kittley's head filled the Texas Tech social media sphere.

Saturday, though he didn't call a flawless game, he did help guide his offense to 23 points against an Iowa State defense that had been allowing only 14 points per game this season. What's more, against the top defense in the Big 12, Kittley's offense posted 366 total yards.

But most importantly, the offense orchestrated a 71-yard, 12-play drive in the final 2:06 of the game to find the endzone and secure the one-point win. That had to feel great for Kittley and the rest of the coaching staff, which had taken its share of heat after back-to-back losses to Baylor and TCU.

In fact, another Texas Tech coach, Kenny Perry, also got in on the act. The running backs coach and special teams coordinator also saw "Big Hen's" post and replied that he would pay for the tattoo.

Of course, this college football season has been one that has seen fans around the country make bold proclamations on social media. Many have failed to follow through though which has led some to believe that those false promises led to losses for the teams those fans support.

It all started in the season's first week when a Florida State fan posted that he would eat dog excrement if the Seminoles lost to Boston College. After FSU was upset by the Eagles, that fan went back on his proclamation and even got off of X leading many to blame him for putting a curse on his team, which is now 1-8 on the season.

Here's hoping that "Big Hen" will follow through on his promise so that the Red Raiders can avoid any potential bad karma or social media curse. Thus far, he is at least talking like he will keep his word.

Because it would require looking at "Big Hen's" rear end, here's hoping we never get proof of whether or not he makes good on his promise. However, this funny interaction with Zach Kittley was a nice light-hearted development after one of the biggest Texas Tech wins in decade as Texas Tech fans finally had something positive to celebrate on line.
