Winning is much better than losing. Riding a six game winning streak is so much better than riding a three game losing streak. And Tim Tadlock and the Texas Tech Red Raiders are riding a bit of momentum right now as they head into a busy Big 12 baseball Saturday. 16 games will be played across the conference, including Game 2 between the Red Raiders and the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunners.
At 6-3 overall, and 5-0 at home, Texas Tech currently holds the longest active winning streak in the Big 12, which feels a little weird to say, but we’re not going to complain any. Especially since there’s so much baseball to be played today and there are a few interesting challenges for various members of the Big 12.
That said, Texas Tech isn’t expected to be challenged much, the Red Raiders handled CSU Bakersfield with ease, getting a 17-4 run-rule win on Friday night. So, let’s take a look at the full Saturday schedule for the Big 12.
