It’s definitely clear that teams are paying close attention to what the Texas Tech Red Raiders will be capable of in Joey McGuire’s fourth season as the head coach out in Lubbock.
There have already been a few discussions about expectations, some conversations about which Red Raiders are positioned well to have success, and now let’s put together a note on how Texas Tech is loaded with seasoned talent.
Texas Tech has so much experienced talent that is expected to be draft eligible this season that the Red Raiders actually set a new standard for the Shrine Bowl 1000 preseason list. A grand total of 24 Red Raiders are on the 2025 Shrine Bowl 1000 list.
That’s more than any other team in the country. Texas Tech is leading the nation on this one. That’s incredible
Texas Tech has more players on the Shrine Bowl 1000 preseason watch list than any other college football team
